At Femur, we believe we are very early on in the way we design and build software products. Our mission is to build cutting-edge products for businesses that want to move fast and consumers with a taste for power and quality.
More background
Today, the influence of software and technology on our everyday lives is bigger than ever. Whether it’s a corporate venture or an ambitious founder, modern companies need true excellence in developing state-of-the-art digital experiences, to deliver on their ambitions.
Femur is a reliable partner to transform ideas from a rough outline into a final, shipped product.
Team
We’re a team of 6 people who have founded, designed and built products at different companies. We’re looking for two Full Stack Engineers to help us evolve our product and join us in building a great company.
What you'll do
- Empower designers with tools. We exist to enable designers to have better tools. You’ll be working on enabling designers to pull content from APIs into their Figma Designs.
- Care about what’s under the hood. Use and take inspiration from the following technologies as we build: Typescript, React, Storybook, Jest, Next.js.
- Ensure our users are at the heart of everything we do. Work with a diverse set of users to understand the range of use cases we want to support – now and in future.
- Play a key role in our product process from inception to delivery. For Fyndle engineering is not a delivery phase; it should be in every step of the thinking and building of a product.
- Focus on the detail. We’re building a legacy of world class products. ****Our users have a high bar of quality. Across all disciplines but especially design we’ll need an attention to detail to make sure our users have a great experience.
What you’ll need
You’ll be the third Full Stack Engineer and work closely with a Product Designer and one of the co-founders, Gideon. You’ll work closely with the founders to ensure we have strong technical foundations for Femur (we have strong but malleable opinions on this!).
This role will be a great fit if you are:
- Well-versed in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, from the early stages of design to deliverables and deployment.
- Happy to own the whole stack, bridging frontend and backend with more emphasis on product and design.
- Communication of your thinking and decisions is as important as the engineering work itself.
